Doctor & Staff

Meet the experienced and friendly doctor and staff who make Bellevue Vision the leading provider of vision care products and services in Bellevue.

Dr. Rick L. McManus

Optometric Physician

I was born and raised in the Snoqualmie Valley, graduating from Tolt High School in Carnation. After attending the University of Washington, I went to Pacific University College of Optometry where I graduated second in my class in 1985. In August of 1986, I took over Bellevue Vision from Dr. Wesley McKenzie after completing my doctorate. I love it here in western Washington and knew that this is where I wanted to practice. I have a daughter and son-in-law living in Durham, North Carolina, and a son who lives in Seattle. Our family enjoys snow-skiing, golf, and travel.

As an Optometric Physician, I diagnose and treat conditions of the human eye. We fit glasses, contact lenses, and manage diseases of the eye such as diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts. We also provide post-operative co-management care for cataracts and laser eye surgery(LASIK).

In addition to providing state-of-the-art care, one of my goals is to treat each patient as if they were a member of my family. It is important to me and my staff that each patient understands completely the status of their ocular health and be knowledgeable about all possible options whether those options are surgical or optical. We take pride in fitting those patients in contact lenses that other doctors have told could not be fit.

Pam Fisher

I have worked in the eye care profession for 43 years. Starting out in an optical Boutique I was first trained in frame selection, adjusting eyewear, repairs and tinting, all of which I truly enjoy. I have worked for Dr. McManus for 35 years, assisting patients with insurance, scheduling, contact lens training, counseling patients for Lasik Surgery, and helping out in the optical department.

My goal is to ensure that all patients receive the best possible care, leaving the office feeling that all their needs have been filled and questions have been answered.

I enjoy traveling, reading, bowling, biking, being a wife, and spending time with my nieces and nephews.

Regina Bock

Emily Truong

I grew up in Kent and received my Associate’s degree from Green River College in 2019. My very first job was at LensCrafters, where I pre-tested patients and maintained patient files on the Doctor’s Office side. I really loved the interactions with patients, so I’ve decided to return back to it after 6 years of working in customer service.

As an Optometric Technician, my goal is to get to know our patients as well as setting them up for the best eye care possible. My ideal day is explaining  the different machines and getting to know more about our various patients every day, regardless if it be about their jobs, cool stories, or simply what they are planning to have for dinner.

I also enjoy reading, writing, traveling, and eating good food!

Abria Kepney

I grew up in Northern California, and moved to Washington in late 2020 where I continued my work with being a childcare provider. I have a Bachelors degree in Childhood Development from San Jose State. Before moving to Washington I was working at Lenscrafters in Menlo Park for a private doctor pulling charts, billing insurance, and providing great customer care. I have always had a passion for giving great customer care and putting a smile on others’ faces.

In my free time I love trying new food, hanging out with family, and going on adventures. My year and a half here in Washington, has been a great experience, but definitely different from the sunny California I am used to. I must say Seattle summers are something everyone should experience and that is something I can look forward to each year!
