Doctor & Staff

Meet the experienced and friendly doctor and staff who makeBellevue Vision Source the leading provider of vision care products and services in Bellevue.

Dr. Rick L. McManus

Optometric Physician

I was born and raised in the Snoqualmie Valley, graduating from Tolt High School in Carnation. After attending the University of Washington, I went to Pacific University College of Optometry where I graduated second in my class in 1985. In August of 1986, I took over the Bellevue Vision Source from Dr. Wesley McKenzie after completing my doctorate degree. I love it here in western Washington and knew that this is where I wanted to practice. I have a daughter who lives in New York City and a son attending college at Washington State University.  Our family enjoys snow-skiing, golf, and travel.

As an Optometric Physician, I diagnose and treat conditions of the human eye. We fit glasses, contact lenses, and manage the diseases of the eye such as diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataract. We also provide post-operative co-management care for cataract and laser eye surgery(LASIK).

In addition to providing state of the art care, one of my goals is to treat each patient as if they were a member of my family. It is important to me and my staff that each patient understands completely the status of their ocular health and be knowledgeable about all possible options whether those options are surgical or optical. We take pride in fitting those patients in contact lenses that other doctors have told could not be fit.

Pam Fisher

I have worked in the eye care profession for 40 years. Starting out in an optical Boutique I was first trained in frame selection, adjusting eyewear, repairs and tinting, all of which I truly enjoy. I have worked for Dr. McManus for 29 years, assisting patients with insurance, scheduling, contact lens training, counseling patients for Lasik Surgery, and helping out in the optical department.

My goal is to ensure that all patients receive the best possible care, leaving the office feeling that all their needs have been filled and questions have been answered.

I enjoy traveling, reading, bowling, biking, being a wife, and spending time with my nieces and nephews.

Crystal Carpenter

I grew up in the Kent area and I am the oldest of three children. I have worked in optical for eight years and enjoy it very much. I attended Bellevue Community College where I received an Associates Degree.  I enjoy spending time with my family, walking my two Chihuahuas, and kayaking.

My goal as an optician is to make sure that the patient leaves the office feeling like they fully understand their eyewear needs. I enjoy helping each patient find unique eyewear that best suits their life style. My hope is that they leave feeling like it was a fun and simple process.

Lucy Faerber

In 1974 I moved to the Great Northwest from a small farming community in Idaho.

I started my optical career working in a contact lens lab. After 16 years I began working in the optometry field as a contact lens technician which led me to my current position as an ophthalmic assistant. Over the years I have met so many wonderful people through this career. I enjoy working with all our patients, helping them understand what takes place during an eye exam as well as assisting them with their needs.

I enjoy cooking, reading, being outdoors, and love animals.

Fashion Anderson

I have worked in the medical field since 2009. I graduated from Spokane Community College with an A.A.S. degree in Medical Office. I was born in Spokane but grew up in the Seattle area. I moved back to Spokane my Junior year in high school and I remained there till April 2014. I have 2 children that I adore. I enjoy hanging out with my children and attending all of their sporting events. I like to read and watch movies and being outdoors.

I enjoy making a difference in each patients day, even if it is just making them smile!
