Precautions for our May 11th Re-opening

While these have been difficult times for everyone, we are looking forward to transitioning our office to more comprehensive care starting on May 11th. We will continue to focus on providing eye health and vision care in the safest manner possible, following recommendations from the American Optometric Association, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We are committed to your safety!

Effective Monday May 11th our hours will be changing to:  Monday through Thursday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and Fridays 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

At your next appointment, you will notice some changes in our office to help protect you and our staff:

You will see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines or a coffee bar as these items were difficult to clean and disinfect. You will also notice that our chairs are spaced further apart to allow social distancing.

When scheduling and confirming your appointment we will be asking several screening questions about your current health, getting as much information as possible regarding insurance and to help complete any necessary forms remotely prior to your appointment.

We request that you not bring any guests with you to your appointment; if you must, we ask that they wait for you in the car. If the patient is a minor we request that only one adult accompany them to their appointment.

Upon entering the office you will be asked to use hand sanitizer (provided), your temperature will be taken quickly and easily with a non-contact infrared thermometer, prior to being moved to an exam room.

We will be requiring Optomap pictures be taken on all exam patients to reduce patient time and decrease doctor/patient interaction to enhance your safety. This is an extra $39 charge.

We have spaced our appointments to minimize the number of people in the office at one time and to allow for the appropriate social distancing.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we are taking to keep you and all our patients safe while visiting our office.

We appreciate your trust and loyalty and look forward to seeing you soon!
